It has been a summer of firsts for me. The quilt was on the bucket list. The bench wasn’t. Had a great time making them with some good friends.
Looking forward to next year.

2013 Fourth of July in The mountains
Well mother nature took over for the long weekend and supplied us with rain. All the festivities for the fourth were cancelled. On Saturday the 13th we were in the hometown parade and although this wasn’t on our bucket list we have now added it there. We came in first in the golf cart catagory, lol!
Kentucky
In May we took a trip to Kentucky. We went to Lexington and Louisville. What a great time touring Woodford Reserve, taking a tour of Keeneland, horse farms and Churchill Downs.
